Coating System Overview

Grip Finish flooring is engineered for superior slip resistance, durability, and long-term performance in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Its multi-layer system ensures safety, toughness, and a rugged, long-lasting surface.

Step 1 – Prepared Concrete Substrate & Primer

The Prepared Concrete Substrate is cleaned, prepped, and sealed with 1" Coat Griptop TF Primer, blinded with aggregate to ensure maximum adhesion and a textured base for slip resistance

Step 2 – Second Primer Coat

A 2nd Coat Griptop TF Primer is applied to further strengthen the surface and lock in the aggregate, creating a robust foundation for the top layers.

Step 3 – Base Coat

A Griptop TF Base Coat is applied, forming a level, durable layer that supports the decorative and slip-resistant finishes.

Step 4 – Double Quartz Broadcast

Decorative quartz granules are broadcast over the wet base coat using a Double Quartz Broadcast technique for enhanced grip and durability in high-traffic, wet, or spill-prone areas.

Step 5 – Grout Coat & Top-Coat

A Griptop TF Sealcoat is applied as the Grout Coat & Top-Coat, encapsulating the quartz and creating a smooth, rugged, chemical- and abrasion-resistant surface.

Step 6 – Optional Decorative Finish

For aesthetic enhancement, a Metallic Pearl Effect Epoxy can be added over a Basecoat Epoxy for Metallic Pearl Effect, giving the floor a subtle shimmer while preserving slip resistance.

System Performance & Benefits

Grip Finish delivers a long-lasting, safe floor that resists heavy traffic, spills, impacts, and chemicals. Its enhanced slip-resistant surface is perfect for industrial floors, workshops, garages, and commercial spaces.

Design Flexibility

Customizable textures, aggregate colors, and optional metallic finishes allow you to combine functionality with visual appeal.
